About Us

Nestled in the heart of the woodlands and lakes of Western Maine, the families living in the Lake Region School District enjoy year-round serenity and natural beauty. Recreational opportunities abound with hiking, camping, boating, swimming, fishing, skiing, snowmobiling and ice skating readily available.

Three quaint New England towns: Bridgton, Casco, and Naples, combine to provide a diverse educational program for the children. By consolidating their resources, the towns maximize the educational opportunities for all children.

Residents moving into Lake Region will find a school system that is enhanced by the affordability and diversity of available housing and quality health care services. Life-long learning opportunities are available through the local libraries and adult education programs. Additionally, there is local access to a variety of colleges, universities, and extended educational programs.
